1: Bakery
Phase 1: Bakery
We will open to the public on March 21st and launch our cupcake campaign.
We will remain in this phase until we have raised the money needed to move to Phase 2: Coffee Bar. Yes, it’s a slow way of opening a coffee house, but that’s part of our coffee house documentary! We are building a coffee house without going into debt, which means we have to be creative in earning capital. What better way to raise capital than to sell cupcakes? See our “Bakery” post for our start up menu.
We are working on a breakfast menu and hope to have that available in April.
2: Coffee Bar
Phase 2: Coffee Bar
This phase should seal it for everyone that we really are a coffee house!
We will be a full-fledged coffee house once we reach this phase and we will offer some awesome beverages! Espresso drinks, specialty drinks, fruit smoothies and our very own soda fountain. Okay, so the soda fountain isn’t exactly a coffee house tradition, but we want one.
We will stay in this phase until we raise enough money to open the deli.

3: Deli
Phase 3: Deli
Organic veggies for our salads. Free-range eggs. Grass-fed beef. Free-range chicken. Locally grown foods. Need we say more? We have some very tasty salads, sandwiches and Chef’s Choice meals planned.
We will stay in this phase until we raise enough money to build the homestead.

4: Homestead
Phase 4: Homestead
During this phase, we will build our dream coffee house! Yes, we adore the cute brick home but the original home will become our bakery. The new coffee house will be an awesome Deltec building with a wrap-around screened porch, an art gallery, a music studio and an entrepreneur program.
We will also add an aquaponics greenhouse. It’s a beautiful double greenhouse using tower growing methods in the commercial greenhouse, and a koi pond in the dining room greenhouse. We use the koi water to fertilize the food greenhouse. So, we have fresh organic vegetables plus a beautiful indoor/outdoor koi pond and park. We plan on sponsoring a tour of koi ponds so if you are interested, contact us and help us plan that club!
We will be growing our own veggies and herbs for the coffee house and the excess produce will be sold to our Homestead members.

5: Entrepreneurs
Phase 5: Entrepreneurs
By the time we reach this phase, we will have had so much entrepreneur training that we are going to help other entrepreneurs. We will set aside a portion of our profits and create an “incubator program” for Anderson County entrepreneurs. Included in the program will be start up funding, office space and mentoring.
